So Much More Than Golf

In keeping with its ethos as a fully-fledged and inclusive Members’ club, the Dun Laoghaire Golf Club offers a wide range of non-golf related social and competitive activities and clubs that are open to all members.

Bowling

The Bowling Club is very much a club within a club. Boasting it’s own all-weather rink and pavilion, the club practises every Tuesday, with matches every Saturday, during the bowling season.

Snooker

With two full-size snooker tables and a dedicated, traditionally appointed snooker room, it’s the perfect venue for a quiet game or keenly contested club match.

Darts and Solo

The Darts and Solo Club can always be found in the Spike Bar on Friday evenings throughout the winter months. Why not join them for a friendly game in a relaxed atmosphere.

Arts

There is no shortage of inspiration for the Arts Club, whose members are blessed with the boundless natural beauty that surrounds the Club. The club meets  on a regular basis and new members, regardless of artistic experience, are always made to feel most welcome.

Book Club

The Book Club is run by a very dedicated group and is now one of the largest clubs of its kind in the country. It’s a great way to meet new people, and catch up on your ‘to read’ list.

Bridge

The Bridge Club is one of the most popular groups within the Club. With its large membership and friendly social side, it offers challenging and enjoyable games at both in-house and inter-club levels.

Choir

The Choir is one of the great traditions of Dun Laoghaire Golf Club. Performances at Christmas and at the Captain’s Dinner are always eagerly anticipated and never fail to draw rave reviews.
