Irish Youths Championship

Event Date:

The Club will host the Irish Youths Amateur Close Championship 2010, it will be held from 30th June–2nd July 2010.

On Monday 28th June the Championship is preceded by GUI Irish Amateur Match v Wales.

The format of the competition is

  • Wednesday 30th June:  Qualifying Round - 36 holes Strokes - Best 16 Gross Scores qualify for Match - Play
  • Thur 1st and Friday 2nd July: Match - Play with competitors defeated in the 1st Round matches competing in the Plate Match - Play Competition.

Those that are eligable and under 21 years of age on 1 January 2010 may compete. Entry forms and rules of the competition may be obtained from the Golfing Union of Ireland (GUI). Link to Entry Form
