Kevin Kelliher PGA Professional

Kevin is a class A PGA Professional with over 15 years experience as a golf instructor. He was delighted to join Dun Laoghaire as head professional in 2007 having held a similar role in the Island Golf club for 10 years.

"My philosophy on the game is that golf should be enjoyed by everyone. In order for this to happen I believe the game should be taught in a simple and effective way. Good golf instruction should cover all aspects of the game and I will be developing individual and group golf programmes that help players to shoot lower scores in addition to helping them improve their technique."

Christopher Hogg PGA Professional

Chris is a class A PGA Professional who graduated with merit from the PGA Academy at The Belfry in 2004. His quest for excellence in golf tuition led him to the United States where he lived for 3 years. He is the only PGA professional in Ireland to have studied under the tutelage of Jim Hardy who is mentor to many of the PGA Tour stars today and currently ranks in the top ten coaches world-wide. He has given Chris a profound understanding of the differences between the one plane and two plane swings.

"Each swing has its own set of fundamentals. My teaching philosophy involves eliminating the fundamentals that do not suit the swings natural tendencies. This simplifies learning for the pupil and thus improvement occurs promptly."

Since graduating Chris has worked at St James Hospital and Beaumont Hospital.
